First posts require faith...

January 3rd, 2007

Hopefully, there will be a long a informative run on this blog. Hello visitor, my name is Jordan Dennis, and I work for HermitWorks Entertainment, the creators of Space Trader. I am an artist and I do whatever I am told. Sometimes, I feel dirty, but mostly I love my job.

Jordan's Desk
Here is a shot of my desk, my home away from home. Among the required tools for successful game development are:
  • 2007 Far Side Calendar
  • 3-ring binder (for battle plans)
  • Wacom Tablet
  • Bose Earphones
  • Webcam (for youtubing)
  • Book of Depraved and Insulting English (you sharny shotclogs)
  • Wide-screen Monitor
In this blog, I will write about my life as an employee for a small, fiercly independent software entertainment company in the middle of Canada. Hopefully, there will be something wonderful in my ramblings that will have you coming back for more, and I welcome your comments!

Before I shut this post down, I’d like to send a shout-out to the fine folks at The Great Games Experiment, a place for small developers (artists, programmers, and producers alike) that looks like it has the makings of an awesome place to talk gaming and explore the industry.

That’s it for now folks!

Stay cool,

Jordan

Not listed: Phill Djonov in the programmer hidey hole behind your area.
  2. Jordan Says:
Phill is not required for me to be a great developer. He just brings me down to emo level... where is my mascara?

    Rawr!

Oh nevermind, Phill, lend me yours...
